Amy Rose Locane or Amy Locane was born December 19, 1971. Amy locane is an American television and film actress.
Amy locane starred as one of the original cast on the hit series Melrose Place. She played Sandy, an aspiring actress who waited tables at the show's hangout "Shooters." She left Melrose Place after the first 12 episodes of season one and was replaced by Daphne Zuniga. She also starred in the movie Airheads with Brendan Fraser and Adam Sandler.
Amy locane also played a lead role in the film Cry-Baby (1990), starring Johnny Depp, and co-starred in the cult-comedy Bongwater with Luke Wilson and Jack Black, and School Ties with Brendan Fraser, Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. She appeared with Dennis Hopper and Amy Irving in Carried Away.
On June 27, 2010, Locane was charged in connection with a fatal motor-vehicle collision that occurred on Cherry Hill Road in Montgomery Township, New Jersey. Locane reportedly struck the passenger side of a vehicle that was attempting to enter a driveway. The passenger of the vehicle, Helene Zucker Seeman info here, was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver (Fred Seeman) sustained serious injuries. Locane, who told police that she had consumed several glasses of wine, has been charged with second degree vehicular homicide. The maximum possible sentence is 10 years.
